Why choose New Brunswick Community College

Campus Life

The active Student Representative Council and student activities coordinator ensure students' NBCC experience is more than just books and classes. Students are active members of the community, donating to food shelters and organizing exciting events throughout the year.

Hands-on Learning

Most of the programs include a work practicum. Students will take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to the real world before graduation.

Pathway Options

Why choose between college and university? NBCC has multiple pathways that allow students to do a 2+2 study option, which means their two-year NBCC diploma can be credited for up to two years of a four-year university degree, making for a seamless transition from college to university.

Graduating from a designated learning institution does not automatically make a student eligible for a PGWP; not every program at a DLI qualifies, and eligibility can depend on the program, language results, field of study and other requirements.
