1. Who controls your information

EAGLE LINK IMMIGRATION & EDUCATION SERVICES ('Eagle Link') handles personal information in connection with its education-support, application, partner and platform services. Depending on the service and contractual relationship, Eagle Link may act as a data controller and, in some arrangements, may process information on behalf of another organization.

  • Identity information such as name, date of birth, nationality, passport or identification details
  • Contact information such as address, email and telephone number
  • Academic information including schools attended, qualifications, transcripts and test results
  • Application information including intended program, destination, intake and application history
  • Employment and professional information where relevant
  • Financial and sponsorship information where required for an application or funding service
  • Immigration and visa-related information where relevant to preparation support
  • Parent or guardian information for minors where required
  • Recruitment-partner, institution and business-contact information
  • Payment references and transaction information needed to reconcile payments
  • Technical information such as device, browser, IP address, log and security information
  • Messages, support requests, complaints and other communications with us

4. Legal basis

Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information because it is necessary to provide a requested service or perform a contract, because you have given consent, because we must comply with a legal obligation, because it is necessary to protect legitimate interests that do not override your rights, or because another lawful basis applies.

5. Sensitive personal information

Some application processes may require information that is considered sensitive under applicable law. We collect or share sensitive information only where it is necessary and where the required legal basis, consent or other authorization exists.

  • Educational institutions
  • Authorized recruitment platforms, institutional groups and recruitment partners
  • Participating financial institutions and education-finance providers when you request or consent to a finance service
  • Payment processors, banks and mobile-money providers involved in an authorized transaction
  • Technology, hosting, document-management, communications and security providers that support our operations
  • Professional advisers and auditors
  • Government, regulatory, law-enforcement or judicial bodies where disclosure is lawfully required
  • Other service providers you ask us to involve in your student journey

To complete an application, Eagle Link may share the necessary application information with educational institutions, authorized recruitment and admissions partners, financial institutions where requested, payment providers and other service providers necessary to complete the service selected by the student. Before an application is submitted, the student authorizes Eagle Link to submit and manage it through the appropriate authorized application channel.

7. International transfers and storage

International education applications naturally involve sharing information with organizations in other countries. Eagle Link will handle cross-border transfers and overseas storage in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and any authorization that is required.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the application or service, legal and regulatory obligations, accounting, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and legitimate record-keeping. Different records may have different retention periods.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No online system is completely risk-free, so users must also protect their account passwords and devices.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion or restriction in appropriate circumstances, objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent where processing depends on consent, and information about how your data is used.

11. Children and minors

Where a service involves a minor, Eagle Link may require parent or legal-guardian involvement, consent and verification as required by law and the nature of the service.
