1. Who we are
These Website Terms of Use apply to www.eaglelink.org and the online services operated by EAGLE LINK IMMIGRATION & EDUCATION SERVICES ('Eagle Link', 'we', 'us' or 'our'), a business registered in Zambia under Business Registration No. 320241027541, TPIN 2003475209, with its registered and head office at Plot No. 5932, Off Freedom Way, Bangweulu Road, Riverside, Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using our website or platform, you agree to these Terms and to any additional terms that apply to a specific service you choose. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.
3. Our role
Eagle Link provides education search, application support, student-support services, recruitment-partner services and related platform functions. We may also connect users with educational institutions, scholarship providers, financial institutions and other third-party service providers.
Admission decisions are made by educational institutions. Scholarship decisions are made by the scholarship provider. Credit and loan decisions are made by the financial institution. Visa and immigration decisions are made by the relevant government authority. Unless expressly stated in a written agreement, Eagle Link does not control or guarantee those decisions.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating or using an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
5. Minors
A person who has not reached the age at which they can enter the relevant contract independently may use appropriate parts of the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Eagle Link may require verification of the guardian and may restrict payments, contracts, finance applications or sensitive-data processing until the required consent is obtained.
6. Accurate information and documents
You must not submit information or documents that are false, altered, misleading, unlawfully obtained or presented in a way that creates a false impression. We may verify documents, request originals or additional evidence, pause an application or close an account where authenticity or integrity concerns arise.
7. Program and institution information
We take reasonable steps to keep program information accurate, but institutions may change tuition, entry requirements, deadlines, intakes, scholarships, delivery modes and other conditions. The institution's current written information controls.
8. Payments
Where a service requires payment, the applicable amount and purpose should be shown before payment. Payments must be made through the approved Eagle Link payment channel stated on the invoice, portal, checkout or payment request. Payment-provider, bank, mobile-network or third-party charges may apply where disclosed.
9. Refunds
Refund requests are handled under the Eagle Link Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law. Whether a payment can be refunded depends on the nature of the payment, whether work has been performed and whether funds have already been transferred to a third party.
10. Third-party services
Our platform may link to or interact with institutions, lenders, examination providers, payment providers, accommodation providers, travel providers and other third parties. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply to the services they provide.
11. Acceptable use
You must not use the website or platform to commit fraud, impersonate another person, upload malicious code, interfere with systems, access another user's data without permission, scrape protected data unlawfully, submit fabricated documents, misuse confidential information or engage in activity that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
12. Intellectual property
Eagle Link owns or lawfully uses the branding, website content, platform materials and other intellectual property displayed through our services. You may use material for your personal application or authorized business relationship with us, but you may not reproduce, sell, alter or commercially exploit protected material without permission.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected fraud or security concerns, comply with law or contract, address non-payment, or respond to a serious breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to clarify the issue.
14. Disclaimer
We provide our services with reasonable care, but we cannot promise that every program will remain available, every application will succeed, every third-party system will always be available or every external decision will be favourable.
15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limitation, Eagle Link is responsible for its own services and acts, but is not responsible for a decision made independently by an institution, lender, government authority or third-party provider merely because Eagle Link introduced or transmitted information to that party.
16. Privacy
Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms when our services, legal requirements or platform change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or another appropriate channel.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to a user in another jurisdiction. If a dispute arises, the parties should first try to resolve it through the Eagle Link complaints process. If it is not resolved, either party may pursue any remedy available under applicable law, including the courts of competent jurisdiction in Zambia.
