Overview

The International Foundation Year is a university preparation program designed to improve students' English language and academic skills. The pathway program will help them transition into university learning. After successful completion, providing candidates meet the entry requirements, they can progress to the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Sussex. The skills they develop mean they can achieve success in all ventures; in their degree and career and in the world. The University of Sussex International Foundation Year in Business, Humanities, Science and Engineering is suitable for students who do not meet the entry requirements for direct entry to an undergraduate degree at Sussex or who would like some extra support.
