Overview

Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is at the heart of the systems that power our world and connect our societies, from smart grids and renewable energy to AI-enabled devices, communications networks and future data centres. This degree programme equips students with the knowledge, creativity and professional skills to design, build and manage the technologies that underpin a sustainable, intelligent future. In student's first year, they will build a solid grounding in circuits, devices, control and dynamic systems while developing key engineering skills like teamwork, problem-solving and communication. Learning combines hands-on labs, makerspace projects and simulations, giving them practical experience in designing, testing and analysing electronic and electrical systems. By the end of the year, they will be ready to choose students pathway and tackle more specialised topics. They will start their journey as a student engineer learning professional skills that are essential to becoming an effective Engineer.
