Overview

In this program, students will work closely with working industry professionals to get the practical skills they’ll need in day-to-day operations. The courses are designed to include offerings from business, engineering, and health sciences specifically to appeal to those wishing to enter the field of facilities management or those currently in the field who want to upgrade or formalize their knowledge. This program has been developed in conjunction with the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) BC Chapter. By training at BCIT, students will focus on the practical, job-relevant skills they need to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of many types of facilities. By building their resume and skill set with industry-approved courses, students will have more opportunity for exciting, challenging jobs, no matter whether they hope to be more successful in their current position or if they’re beginning a brand new career. Please note: Flexible Credential programs are part-time however enrollment in these programs does not affect PGWP eligibility.
