Overview

The Pre-Masters program is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to a postgraduate degree at the University of Dundee. This may be due to the grades achieved in their undergraduate degree, their current qualifications not being equivalent to a UK undergraduate degree, or a desire to improve their academic and English language skills. The Pre-Masters course will equip students with the advanced skills necessary to complete their postgraduate study at the University of Dundee. They can choose to study over one or two terms, depending on their academic qualifications and English language level. The one-term option offers a fast track route to their chosen degree course and is studied over three months. The two-term option is studied over six months and provides additional academic English and subject-related support. Master of Science - International Business, Marketing and Human Resource Management International Business involves learning about global business knowledge. Many business principles and practices are common across the world, and the degrees will help students understand what these are and why they have been adopted internationally. The program also provides insights into how these business principles and practices vary in different countries, preparing students for their business careers. Whether a student's first degree is in Business or another subject, this course will help them understand why different processes and decisions are made by international businesses. This knowledge will be taught across a wide range of modules, including areas such as international business strategy, international trade, human resource management practices, management practices and principles, international marketing, and much more. This degree option allows students to focus on marketing and the management of human resources. In addition to the core international business modules, they will study international human resource management and marketing as a creative practice, along with a range of other options to choose from.
