Overview

Program Description Build a future by studying in the UK, with a pathway course at Kaplan International College (KIC) London. Situated in the world’s top academic city (QS Best Student Cities 2019), the College will prepare students for a university degree, and for a successful career. Study at one of the most respected international colleges in London, and progress to one of 8 universities, including the University of Bristol. The University of Bristol is a highly ranked Russell Group university with a fantastic reputation. Students will join a global community of students from more than 150 countries, and enjoy life in one of the UK’s most exciting cities. This four-year integrated economics and management degree allows students to study both disciplines to a high level, and gives a fantastic opportunity to live and study abroad for a year at a partner university. The degree is the same as the three-year BSc Economics and Management until students get to year three, which they will spend abroad studying modules in economics and management. The first year and half of the second year comprise mandatory units which will give students a solid grounding in both disciplines. This content is fixed to ensure that students have a depth of understanding which will enable them to explore what they find most interesting later on. Half of the second year is made up of optional units, as is the entire final year. At least one third of the final year must be selected from units in economics, and at least one third from units in management - but aside from that restriction, students are free to focus on a preferred discipline, or indeed to select options in accounting or in finance (subject to having completed appropriate prerequisites).
