Overview

Investigate the causes and prevention of criminal behavior, the interaction between crime and law, and how and why the criminal justice system works the way it does. Here, students will learn from some of the nation’s leading criminology and law studies scholars and professionals. And students will have a chance to research and work alongside them. This major will prepare students interested in going to law school. Students can also enter the Accelerated Degree Program in criminal justice data analytics during their junior year and earn their undergraduate and graduate degrees in just five years. Regardless of the direction students take their degree, they'll graduate with the values-based foundation one can only get at Marquette — which means students will know exactly how to use what they've learned to bring justice to the world and advance the greater good.
