Overview

Our highly popular BA (Hons) Psychology programme offers student the opportunity to delve into the intricate workings of the human mind and behaviour. From exploring memory, language, and creativity to understanding social interaction and the brain processes behind psychological differences, this programme provides a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of psychology. In the American liberal arts tradition, student will choose courses from across various subject disciplines. This interdisciplinary approach ensures them develop a well-rounded perspective, sharpening their critical thinking and analytical abilities, which are essential in the modern job market. It also enriches their personal and intellectual development, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of psychology. Into the degree student will delve deeper into the discipline with studies in areas such as developmental and biological psychology, as well as exploring the conceptual and historical issues that have shaped the field.
