Overview

Schiller International University’s Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy degree program prepares students to analyze global systems, lead cross-cultural dialogue, and shape international policy. In a world shaped by diplomacy, conflict, and global cooperation, understanding international relations is more important than ever. Global Issues, Local Perspectives – Students explore political theory, international law, human rights, and global security through a multicultural lens across diverse geopolitical regions. Pioneering International Multicampus University – Students study international relations on campuses in the USA, France, Germany, and Spain, gaining regional insight and a global perspective. Hands-On Diplomatic Practice – Students participate in debates, model UN simulations, and policy projects that mirror real-world challenges faced by diplomats and global leaders. Dual Degree Option Students can make their education more future-ready through the dual-degree Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy program with the University of Roehampton - London, UK Partnership. Years 1–4: Global Campus Experience: Students begin and complete their studies at any of Schiller’s global campuses—Tampa, Madrid, Paris, or Heidelberg—while following a U.S.-style curriculum. Final Thesis and Degree Completion: Students complete one final thesis without being required to relocate to London, allowing them to remain at their preferred Schiller campus. After successfully completing the thesis, they earn both an American degree from Schiller and a UK degree from the University of Roehampton, with the option to attend a second graduation ceremony at the University of Roehampton.
