The Biotechnology with Placement Year MSci provides a game-changing experience by combining academic excellence with a transformative year of industry training. During this pivotal placement, students engage in a defined project with an industry partner, enabling them to apply their learning in real-world settings and build valuable professional connections. Participants gain essential skills and practical expertise to launch their careers ahead of the competition. Why study Biotechnology at Birmingham? Study Abroad: In the third year, students have the opportunity to study in France, Spain, Germany, or one of more than 300 global destinations.
