Overview

The Master's Degree in Product Design at UDIT prepares students to develop objects, systems and consumer goods that respond to the real needs of users, with a functional, emotional and strategic impact. Throughout the program, students will immerse themselves in the complete industrial and product design cycle, from initial conceptualization and sketching to technical development and final validation. Students will learn to design human-centered solutions by applying innovative and agile methodologies, including systems thinking, ecodesign, and market research, ensuring that the products created are viable, sustainable, and aligned with business objectives. Students will master 3D modeling, simulation, and technical optimization tools. They will be able to create everything from complex mechanical components to high-fidelity aesthetic surfaces using SolidWorks, Rhino, and other collaborative engineering and design platforms. Furthermore, students will develop expertise in advanced materials, industrial manufacturing processes, and emerging technologies, applying rapid prototyping, 3D printing, robotics, and digital manufacturing techniques (Fab Labs). Students will also acquire management, business strategy, and communication skills to collaborate with industry, interact with suppliers, and lead product development throughout its entire lifecycle and supply chain.
