Overview

The Official Master's Degree in Illustration at UDIT is a program that prepares students to become a creative, versatile illustrator with a strong, distinctive style. It is designed to enhance students' talent and align their artistic skills with the demands of today's visual communication industry. With a highly practical and multidisciplinary approach, students will work on simulated real professional projects, guided by illustrators, art directors, and active industry experts. Students will be able to successfully and rigorously tackle projects in editorial illustration, advertising, press, infographics, and the development of original author projects. Students will also learn to conceptualize ideas, translate abstract concepts into images, and develop impactful visual narratives, combining mastery of traditional analog techniques with cutting-edge software and digital tools. Students will integrate AI into their documentation and mood board creation phases and develop their own unique style as a key employability skill. All of this takes place in a creative, demanding, collaborative environment that is fully connected to the real needs of the publishing and artistic market.
