Overview

Students will gain the skills and knowledge to train top and junior athletes in preparation for major international competitions like the Olympic Games, World and European Championships and more by gaining a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science: Training & Performance at UE. Whether in the NFL or at the Olympic Games, athletes are idolised by the public. Sport plays an important role in society, the BA Sports Science: Training & Performance degree at UE provides the opportunity to be a part of the movement. Students can choose to study sports science with a focus on training and performance at the Seilersee Sports Campus in Iserlohn and take their first steps in the sports industry. Delivered across six semesters, the BA Sports Science: Training & Performance curriculum introduces students to topics such as health and doping, sports pedagogy and sports psychology as well as an in-depth look at sports anatomy. Those who study Sports Science: Training & Performance at UE will gain the skills to train the highest-performing athletes and work across a wide range of disciplines in various sports around the world.
