Overview

Increased competition and recent economic shifts in domestic and global markets, together with higher expectations from consumers, require marketing that is more sophisticated. This degree will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge of contemporary marketing practices to allow you to deal with these changes, including marketing strategy, marketing research methods and digital marketing. You will consider marketing across a range of business contexts including consumer, industrial, service and not-for-profit sectors, as well as studying business to business, branding and communications strategies in local and international contexts. You will have opportunities to learn about industry practice and emerging trends in various sectors and it could be your path to a leadership career in marketing. You will have the opportunity to develop your practical transferable skills including the ability to conduct independent marketing research, problem solving, presenting and planning.
