The 33 credit program consists of 24 credits of the school nurse instructional program and 9 credits of graduate core courses in the School of Nursing. The student is also eligible for the Educational Services Endorsement as a certified school nurse when the 24 credits of the school nurse program is completed. Eight courses (NUR 5500, NUR 5510, NUR 5021, NUR 6170, NUR 5520, CSP 5601, SPC 5010, and PSY 6830) are needed to complete the New Jersey School Nurse Instructional Certification. Clinical practice, through the School Nurse Student Teaching Practicum requires prior application through the School of Nursing and  Office of Field Experiences. Clinical experience applications must be submitted by the due date on the practicum checklist after eligibility has been confirmed.
