Overview

Since 1976, the Lazaridis Master of Business Administration (MBA) program has provided an innovative, world-class business education. It was the first Canadian university to offer a one-year, full-time MBA for those seeking the degree quickly, featuring an intensive core curriculum that exposes students to key disciplines concurrently. The Full-Time MBA + co-op program is aimed at high-caliber, recent graduates with under two years of work experience. For those seeking valuable real-life experience or transitioning to a new industry, this program offers eight months of work experience, enhancing resumes and providing insights for career decisions. Wilfrid Laurier University hosts Ontario's first business co-op program and now has Canada's largest business degree co-op program. We are accredited by Co-operative Education and Work-Integrated Learning Canada (CEWIL Canada) for meeting high standards. The Lazaridis Full-Time MBA + Co-op program is the first MBA co-op program in Canada to receive this prestigious accreditation.

About the Institution

For more than a century, Laurier has been known for academic excellence. But we’ve also been dedicated to the philosophy that our students’ success is measured through more than grades – it’s based on the quality of the lives they lead, and those they inspire. Laurier’s two campuses are in Waterloo and Brantford, but we also have a Faculty of Social Work in nearby Kitchener and a weekend MBA program in Toronto. In all, we have 19,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Kitchener-Waterloo, with a population of about 350,000, is small enough to be safe and easy to navigate but large enough to o...
