International students benefit from a fully developed program delivered by B.C. government-certified teachers in new state-of-the-art schools with the latest equipment and technology. Coquitlam School District is nestled in the mountains between the Pacific Ocean and the Fraser River, including the cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and the villages of Anmore and Belcarra. The scenic location, proximity to Vancouver and Whistler, beautiful new secondary school facilities, variety of course offerings, high academic standards, and the safety of the community provide a very desirable location for an international education program. The district is also close to Simon Fraser University, Douglas College, and the University of British Columbia.

Post-study work information

Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Graduating from a designated learning institution does not automatically make a student eligible for a PGWP; not every program at a DLI qualifies, and eligibility can depend on the program, language results, field of study and other requirements. Eligibility is checked for each program — see the program page.
