The ITHQ is a public school that offers a range of programs. To train students, the ITHQ relies not only on the expertise of its 100 instructors but also on the contribution of industry specialists and leaders. A culinary demonstration by Antonin Mousseau-Rivard, a round-table discussion with Christiane Germain, a champagne tasting with Vitalie Taittinger, or a surprise visit by Martin Juneau are all examples of opportunities for students to talk to and get inspired by the greatest names in the field.
The ITHQ is a small school with a big heart. Here, everyone knows everyone else, and students' education is personalized. This is the best place to develop close connections with the ITHQ family—a network that will follow students throughout their career. Studying at the ITHQ means not only learning a profession: it also means becoming part of a vibrant and warm community, just like the industry itself.
The ITHQ is located in the heart of Montreal, one of the world’s most welcoming and diverse cities. Students can enjoy the vibrant and supportive campus whilst exploring all that Montreal has to offer.
With a café, bar, two restaurants and a 4-star hotel operated by students, the ITHQ is an incredible training environment!
The ITHQ's vocational and technical programs are enhanced by internships and educational content.
Whether students get involved with the student association or join the entrepreneurship, outdoor, or sommelier clubs, the opportunities to get involved are almost endless.

Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Graduating from a designated learning institution does not automatically make a student eligible for a PGWP; not every program at a DLI qualifies, and eligibility can depend on the program, language results, field of study and other requirements. Eligibility is checked for each program — see the program page.
