Otterburne, Manitoba, Canada
Providence University College & Theological Seminary is a leading Canadian Christian university located in the province of Manitoba with a 100-acre main campus in Otterburne where students can gain the spiritual and educational tools needed to become difference-makers!
If students are looking for a faith-based education, one that is anchored in a rich tradition of equipping leaders to serve in churches and communities — then they're ready to apply to Providence.
Founded in 1925, Providence’s goal is to prepare students to be a difference-maker — both in their personal and professional life. As one of Canada’s top Christian universities, Providence is dedicated to providing a learning community that will transform students into leaders who can serve Christ in this ever-changing world.
Enduring friendships. Lifelong mentorship. That’s what students will experience when they take their place in the Providence community. Students will become part of a faithful community, one that’s committed to following Christ and leaving a legacy that extends far beyond Providence. Wherever graduates go in life, Providence will stay with them and be there for them to celebrate their accomplishments, help them push past any struggles and remind them that they are difference-makers.
Campus life at Providence can be summed up in one word: Community. Whether students are attending a chapel service, joining in a residence hall activity, performing in an ensemble, participating in student leadership or serving others through field education and other volunteer opportunities, students will grow and learn in a supportive and diverse community — just like they do in the classroom.
Providence offers varsity sports, numerous intramural options and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. Every year, about 100 varsity student-athletes put on the Providence blue, bringing their talents, character, work ethic and leadership to an athletic program anchored in the Christian faith.
Providence is committed to delivering a transformative education and to providing an ideal campus environment for that transformation to occur. From the University's 100-acre rural setting to its beautiful facilities, Providence is dedicated to campus initiatives that provide direct benefits to their students, their community and the world!
